The Truth is . . .
A man does not Know what he Truly has.
So he wants what he thinks he must have.
The Truth is . . .
A man does not Know what he Wants.
So he wants what he thinks he must want
to get what he thinks he must have.
. . .
I ask such a man . . .
Do you Know
What you Truly Have?
. . .
I ask such a man . . .
Do you Know
What you Truly Want?
. . .
Look.
I get it.
No, I truly get it.
You like the rush.
You like having something to do.
You like getting up first thing to kick it.
You like directing and guiding.
Even pushing and nudging.
You like finishing the day
with bruises, with hassle, with satisfaction.
You like ending with an appetite for a bigger rush.
You like the routine, the pattern,
The Perfect Habit.
But, friend, I also get It.
But, alas, I actually
Truly get It.
For my Eyes are far too Open to miss It.
For my Ears far too intuned to not Receive It.
For my Senses are Turned ON.
(Always)
You see
With his Senses turned ON
He simply cannot not Know what he Truly has.
He simply cannot mindlessly want what he is made to want.
He simply cannot cleverly choose what he "should" and "should not" want.
With his Senses turned ON
He simply cannot become a tree that keeps
growing, winding, and intertwining.
With his Senses turned ON
He Relaxes into a
Garden of Life.
But
for the regular "man from earth" . . .
The tree is a virus.
And
for the regular "garden of life" . . .
The most selfish tree never stops growing.
The nesting
The branching
The intertwining
just does not end.
Because it is just not another tree.
It is the tree that is him.
A tree
with his biggest
misunderstanding
as its root.
Thank you.
