This post is targetted at a very specific segment of the population.

Given the outright domination of the veil that is information,

this segment is rather prized and coveted in society.

Because their "status" is prized by society,

the Truth about these people is the exact opposite -

These people are damaged beyond repair.

And immediately, I will add that the damaging is so "glorious",

that to them, the "damage" is really the dream that they have worked for all their life.

In other words, to them, the repair is really the "damage"

that they have been escaping and will continue to.

These people also happen to be the "battery" of the derogatory living

that mankind has dug itself deep in.

Yes.

I am talking about the

software engineers, growth hackers, product managers,

engineer managers, robot managers, Keurig managers,

and all the other "ists" and "ers" of the silicon valleys of the world,

who are fuming if by some chance were advised to read this post.

Because the chances of that happening are thin,

I have no other choice but to throw another stone in the dark.

Yes, while to you, your goals and ambitions are everything,

their utter lack in my life, is Freedom.

It is the Freedom which allows me to spit out,

without any active thinking whatsoever,

my deepest "regards" to you.

I get it.

Your work means everything to you.

It does because you have worked all your life for it.

I will restate because something tells me the

gravity of hidden in the two statements did not register to your busy Mind

which is still lost prioritizing things at "work"...

You have worked all your life for that

which will have you work for the rest of your life.

I will be honest.

In all my writing thus far,

nothing as unevolved and full of despair has come out of my fingers.

But I must continue.

Because "work" has meant everything to you,

you have failed to see it for what it was within the first few months.

And now that you are years and decades in,

I have no hope that you will ever be able to.

But let me at least put forward this ...

Has it satisfied you?

Has it emancipated you permanently?

Has it quenched your thirst for Everything in life?

You know the answer.

Your spouse knows the answer too.

Your blatant and secret escapes are proof

that you have been running away from that answer.

And this post is to bring you face to face to it.

For you have fully and totally, failed

to learn the Truth behind work.

You know why?

Because you shied away from realizing the Truth about

yet another thing worshipped by society - "education".

Yes, your very foundation was based on misunderstanding.

What you label "education" is the foundation on which

the prison "work" was built by your Mind.

Do you not get it, dear Mind addict?

What you know as "education" is truly brainwashing and conditioning.

The brainwashing conditions you to not clearly see your

"job",

"research",

or esteemed "position"

(that you proudly advertise on your social media profiles)

for what it is.

Education does not train you.

It conditions you to never train for Life.

It overloads you with jargon and crutches so that you

never venture past the comfort of their cushioning and into the unknown.

But I am afraid, it is too late to attempt to break you out of the first thick

and well-built layer of ignorance. So let me provide you with something that

will not further blind you with guilt, angst, and fear. Something,

that just maybe the final push to make you contemplate

prison break...

Work is (was) all the education you need(ed).

Every inch of me is urging me to stop.

For it is already too late.

For really, the first few months or at the maximum,

years of your predicament ought to have shown you what work really is.

It is all the "education" you need to learn not just any lesson.

But the Lesson of Life - who you really are.

I will repeat.

Unlike what your education brainwashed you with,

Work is not the end.

It is one of the many means to realize that a life

aimed towards an end is not life, but a slow and painful inching

towards something worse than death -

Suffering (today and in your senility)

Worry not, I am not advising you to quit.

Neither I will "motivate" you to immerse yourself

into yet another illusion of starting your own company.

Keep your work. You are far too sheepish to quit.

Instead, do this.

Look back at your days.

To the point where your innocence was culled out of you without notice.

This was your very first day at university.

Then, look forward to your days.

Up and until the years of being senile.

Do it.

What did you find if not just work and more work

in your past?

And what will you find if not work and more work in your future?

Yes, yes, you will see "fun" sprinkled here and there,

but both you and I know how forced upon and planned they really are.

And how much social media sharing they call for to just give you a speck of

what they promise.

I will finish with yet another simple statement.

For really, the Truth is simple.

If you are working Today,

no matter what you are working on,

whether some glorious IoT problem and its analysis,

or buying your "team members" lunch or coffee,

you will work for the rest of your life.
