When a 6'4" handsome man boasting a chiseled physique and dressed like a king

and a woman equally ravishing accompanied by him,

are not free enough to recognize their surrounding,

and stare down and away from the stranger walking towards them,

who is a gentle and casually dressed human,

you know the world you live in

is not the world YOU live in.

Although their condition is immediately obvious,

every time I have such an experience,

I still cannot help but wonder -

Who are they hiding from?

What malfunction these human organisms are harboring?

How torturous and self-limiting of an internal world they experience?

And more than anything ...

what a waste of their genes!

what a denial towards their true nature!

what an insult towards their essence and underlying glory.

To all such human beings,

no matter their gender or race,

no matter their region, dialect, or religion,

no matter their intelligence, bruteness, grandeur, or beauty,

I will ask this earnestly ...

If after all that you have chased and worked hard for,

you are unable to hold your self high, not in pride, ego or some other illusion,

but simply high and wide in the recognization that you are a human being,

then what has all that hard-work and chasing amounted to?

Have they not been utterly futile?

Are you not simply a tethered and gagged beast

being stabbed constantly by some poisonous tentacles?

Tentacles, the seeds of which were sowed by your own deeds?

But even in this state of torture,

you manage to continue to lay even more such seeds!

You do so when you robotically escape from the torture

by salivating towards the avenues of pleasure.

Yes.

Every single avenue of pleasure sought today

will need to be paid over.

Not just once.

But many, many, many times over.

And before you get confused and say that you are no more chasing pleasure,

or even that you have never sought pleasure -

I will warn you -

such an act does not have to be

"sinful" or "blasphemous" or "hedonistic"

or anything of the sort your Mind paints the images for.

Yes, the more intense and degenerate the pleasure sought,

the more venomous the tentacle and the deeper its reach into your consciousness.

But to your conditioned Mind and lack of understanding,

I must relay this to you ...

Even the most benign-appearing act can be a pleasure chase.

For even the thought or "plan" or "decision"

to "never chase pleasure" is done for pleasure.

And though by adhering to such "decisions"

you are exempting yourself from the intense pains of the future,

it will keep you bound to your world...

...of hiding and pretending.

...of suffering or suffering by constantly escaping.

And by being bound to your world...

you are kept from - being -

full, free, and alive.
