Want

Want one thing and life will be yours.

For you will live in peace, with life by your side.

Want many things

and life will keep running away from you.

For you will live running after its many, many forms.

The lines above are not for the Mind.

It will make a prescription out of it and say to itself -

"Okay, I must not want many things, I must only want one thing!"

If this is happening to you,

you are better off coming back to these words in a decade or two.

If a human wants something,

and then to get that thing, he succumbs to

planning, schemes, strategies, or preparation,

then he does not Want it.

Consequently, he will never get it.

He will live chasing it all his life.

Yes, every human has something that is his birthright.

That thing is not just rightfully his,

it is him.

He was Created only for that one reason.

And that is to devote himself to that thing so completely and fully,

that he actualizes his birthright

and becomes the thing.

How is that possible?

By realizing that Wanting is the only way.

Plans, schemes, strategies, preparation,

advice, tricks, ... these are the ways of the Mind.

I say "The Mind" because though every human has a Mind,

the over-connected world impregnates it with other minds.

Before he knows it, he suddenly not only wants things

but has such "best practices" about getting his wants

telling him what to do.

Yes.

"The Mind" hijack is very real.

Even for the thing a human deeply and truly Wants,

his Mind will fall for this at first.

This is okay.

But should he get and stay stuck in this never-ending wanting,

he will chase and chase.

He will not arrive at his Want.

A human must reach a point in his life.

Of realizing, this is what he has been up to.

That he has been either

1) Chasing his Want

2) Does not know what he Wants

And it has caused him dissatisfaction, unfulfillment,

pain, angst, conflict, dread, reactive-self-sabotaging desires,

or no desire at all.

Desire is not good.

Desire is not bad.

Desire is the only truly powerful thing a human has.

Desire separates humans from beasts.

A beast does not desire. It succumbs to it. It has no choice.

And yes, while it makes the plethora of humans succumb to it like beasts,

desire does make the rare human do beastly things.

It makes him able to surpass the limits,

to do the never-done-before.

Wanting the thing you were Created for,

with all your might,

is channeling the desire in you to its maximum.

It is Choosing.

It is rising amongst those who have chosen to stay asleep as their lower versions.

When one realizes this,

the Mind and its many reactive desires and tendencies

simply evaporate in the raging heat of that one burning Want.

Thank you.
