The world has fully, totally, inconceivably flipped.

Actually, it has been that way for a while.

Actually, "for a while" is an understatement.

Because it may have been that way since around the time you were born.

Here is what it means for you . . .

It is because it is the only way mankind will complete its self-destruction loop.

If you are wondering how you/I/we got here, or what loop I am talking about,

something tells me it went something like this . . .

(I do not trust “what” is telling me this, so take it with a grain of salt)

Man was born in bondage.

He had trouble. He had pain. He had conflicts.

Because he was inundated (literally and metaphorically)

with that which he did not truly understand.

His consciousness was flooded with thoughts he did not understand.

He felt bad. He felt lonely. He felt deprived.

He felt left out. He felt . . .

in NEED.

(You could say this is how it always was. And you would be right.

Because this is exactly why the guardrails have existed in the history of man.

No, I will not explain what I mean by "Guardrails".

Perhaps you can guess?)

(But as I said earlier, times have been different for a while.

So this modern era man, with or without the guardrails,

did something that he himself from centuries ago

would NOT have done when he

FELT BAD.)

(Because this time he had the . . . INTERNET.)

So he got on the Internet.

The Internet did not warn him -

“I am notorious about many things

- but MOST NOTORIOUS about one thing -

I do not respect boundaries. I do not respect GUARDRAILS.”

So even before even he got on the mighty Internet . . .

The time and tested algorithms did their job.

He was automagically guided towards -

Helping others.

Providing for society.

Providing at scale.

Using leverage.

Using apps.

Using algorithms and notifications.

Using workflows and orchestrations.

Using email lists.

Using reminders.

. . .

Using everything available on the goddamn NETWORK.

He listened.

And then, he made sure he was listened to.

He learned of this thing called "success".

He learned of many other LABELS that the node "success" had edges to.

He visited them all. Depth first, first. Breadth first, next.

All day long. And then some in his dreams.

In due time

He was successful.

But he was not content. So he . . .

made sure others around him were also “successful”.

He was helpful.

But he was not content. So he . . .

made sure others around him were also "helpful".

But he was not content.

He was not content with

with the simple "meanings" of

these so called values that his life had come to base around.

(Why should "successful" and "helpful" be limited

to the actions <=> rewards that he has experienced so far?)

So he . . .

DID NOT STOP

And he . . .

HAS NOT STOPPED

Somewhere along the line, his so-called "values"

ran amok.

Somewhere along the line, his path

became circular.

Somewhere along the line, he started

Self-destructing.

But he . . .

DID NOT STOP

And he . . .
