Truth and Technology

We live in a strange world.

On one hand, Mankind (or the Mind) is doing its thing

and reaching unfathomable peaks,

when it comes to finding ways to escape the Moment and inhabit imagined realities.

And then this very same Mind,

having created uncountable channels that facilitate information sharing,

once in a while runs into the Truth.

Yes.

I am speaking of the likes of Twitter and the few

using it as a medium to "cut through the crap".

Or in other words, "speak" Truth.

However few be the numbers of such sources,

there is a shift happening for sure.

However, no one is interested in this observation.

And I do not blame. I understand.

For the Mind is never ever content with just observation.

It has to make something out of the observation.

So the question I keep getting asked is this ...

"When will Truth be Mainstream?"

"And what will the world look like when it does?"

To which I say, always, to their disappointment ...

Truth can never be "Mainstream".

Why is that so?

The answer is simple.

Truth, by its very nature, is "Mind repellant".

And it goes the other way.

The Mind, by nature, is Truth repellant.

Whereas the Mind deals in hows, whys, what-ifs, whens, etc.

the Truth does not "deal" in anything.

The Truth is just there.

It is there to be absorbed and assimilated until one starts living it.

Until one becomes the Truth.

That which one labels as "Mainstream" is, once again,

a representative of "Mankind" or the "collective Mind" or simply,

the Mind.

And because the Mind is not True (the Truth),

the Truth can not be the Mind.

And thus, the Truth cannot be Mainstream.

The Truth will always be hidden, waiting to be uncovered.

By those who deserve it.

Those who have no other option but to WANT it.

But then I get asked another question.

"But what about the endless other people who talk and write about Truth,

who follow those rare few Twitter accounts that "speak" it?"

"Is that not representative of a growing interest in Truth?"

"Is that not a sign that more and more people will dedicate their lives to finding it?"

To which I bring them "disappointment" once again ...

(I say "disappointment", because honestly,

I give them the Truth ...)

Aah .. I know where the confusion lies.

You see all these countless people who are following the rare ones,

are merely interested in "window shopping".

They are content with the idea,

or the notion that they are interested in this thing called "Truth".

They like the nobility that comes with knowing such a fact.

Of being the one in their "circle" to spread this "good" deed.

The Truth is that they have not any remote desire

to actually devote themselves to the journey towards it.

Because they are content with the idea

that because they are "interested" in Truth, they will find it "some-day".

They are in love with an illusion.

An illusion that waking up every morning,

spending part of their days liking and sharing tweets of the rare few,

makes them special, gives them purpose.

You are not special, my friend.

You just are not serious.

Or maybe you just are not hurting as much. Not yet.

You are okay.

And as long you are "okay", you will never find Truth.

Which, might very well be, okay.

Thank you.
