I have no use for faith or belief or luck.

But in ways, I consider myself lucky.

One such way is the timing of my birth.

I pity those born a decade or so before me.

I pity those born a decade or so after me

even more.

The Internet has redefined living.

This has been neither good nor bad.

But the redefination has pushed humans away from their core.

It has given a lifelong license to humans to slip and slip farther

away from the Truth of their being into something that today,

they have taken for themselves and the entity they label society.

The founding of the internet was one thing.

A utopian (read: pure) humanity would have stopped there.

Or perhaps sincerely inched forward one urgent innovation at a time.

But when it comes to its ulterior motives and being

salivatingly greedy for those motives, the Mind knows no limits.

Born were social media and the many results of its self-impregnation.

Social media is the tip of the iceberg of its own degradation

into far more devious and unnatural traps for the Mind.

Those yet to surface and those already wreaking

havoc to the human condition.

The Mind was just not ready.

It was not ready when the internet caught it off-guard.

It played into its powers through the many games it designed.

Such games have only gotten more fun.

They have both deepened and broadened in their scopes.

And their scopes have spanned almost over every single way

humans interact with each other.

The Mind has never been an ally for Nature.

This is easy to see.

Even before social media or the Internet became mainstream.

The Mind has always carved its way into comfort and taken from Nature.

And while Mother Nature can and will take the tortures of her many children,

the internet has no such innate motherhood built-in.

Beyond the shiny pictures, videos, and information galore,

the internet is only lifeless silicon and bare metal.

In the way that the Mind is not an ally for Nature,

the internet is a glorious ally for the Mind.

Social media, its widespread usage, and its incarnations

through other downstream products and services

has been the result of the Mind circumventing

its ulterior motives that were kept in check by

the humaneness in human beings.

Because once a slippery slope towards pleasure and ecstasy

is seen with no immediate harm,

(or services are subserviently financed to ease humans from such harm)

does an entity like the Mind has a choice?

The world today may be modern, easy, helpful, friendly, exciting, or comfortable.

But all of that has come at a cost far greater than the average human

is willing to pay to regain the sincerity, humaneness, and dignity

he had to exchange for the goods in his life.

The hopeful intellect will say that this will change.

That the Mind will evolve to cope with this.

But I say not. I will reveal that

such a statement is the Mind's deathlike grip on the illusion of hope.

"Evolution" is a misnomer in the modern context.

Nature knows evolution. Anything else is devolution.

Any other usage is a clever reliance on words to escape the Truth.

Yes, this will change for sure.

But it will only become more like it is today - artificial and superficial.

Men, women, and children will continue to head towards their opposite selves,

farther away from being heartful and sincere.

Once the veil of the "good stuff" is removed,

the rare human will see clearly ...

We stand at the brink of extinction of the human race

as it was known at the start of human civilization.

The humans of today are far away from the prospect of "civilization".

They are robots. Eunuchs. Delusional. Emotionally heartless.

Every word the average human utters is tainted in the colors

of unsurety, fear, or fake, conditioned, and bought-off confidence.

Global repair of the human mind and condition?

In the fake and superficial dreams

of his conditioned life.
