One of the many side effects of societal existence,

is that there will always be some gossip that will go on about something.

There is such a prevalent gossip surrounding those who seek Truth.

Like with all gossip,

some of these are "true",

while others are but a myth.

Why "true"?

Because although what is being said is true,

how it is presented or backed up, is flawed.

Let us take an example.

It is not common for those seeking higher knowledge,

whether in all things or some specific domain,

to separate themselves from society,

and live in an isolated way, by themselves.

Now the societal gossip that one will hear,

will be something like -

"S(h)e does not like socializing and/or is a loner and/or hates society."

To which I will say -

while some aspects of what was stated are true,

the way it was said,

distorts the mental picture of the person that the Mind will create.

Yes, one who cannot help but aim for unreachable heights,

will seek Truth.

Now, will they be able to do this in a "group setting"?

Will the "group" or the "circle" even pay a speck of attention,

to what really drives that person?

Or will they even understand the truth-contextual words

that this person will speak?

ABSOLUTELY not.

So what choice does this person have?

For this "group" is doing NOTHING fruitful.

THIS is why the person will choose to not "socialize".

Not because this person "is a loner" or "does not like society"

or "does not like having fun".

But because this person is DRIVEN.

Because this person values the limited time,

that they have been given to THRIVE on this planet.

So I will say again,

all such observations about people who seek Truth,

are correct,

but the gossip bastardizes their simple and innocent preference of living,

with the reasoning that at its core openly screams ignorance and insecurity.

And then there are some things that are said,

which are simply a myth.

I know not how these myths came to exist.

What I do know is they have existed for a very long time,

and given the Mind's nature, will continue to.

These myths around sages,

does them no justice whatsoever,

and no matter how innocent the listener or their mind,

paints a picture of a sage being as someone listless,

"past their prime" and "boring".

To this, I will say ...

Alright.

If the word sage conjures up such images in your Mind,

I will introduce a new word -

Supersage

Who or what is a Supersage?

A supersage is similar to a "traditional" sage,

when it comes to aspects of seeking perennial peace,

being utterly devoted to Truth and those who seek it,

seeking full contentedness with their present situation,

NO MATTER how prosperous or impoverished,

and spending their moments doing one and one thing only

- understanding and taming their Ego - their Mind.

BUT ...

No matter what stage of enlightenment such a person is in,

they recognize they do NOT have to resort to living the myths around a "traditional" sage.

That they have but one life,

and it is up to THEM to BECOME what they WANT to.

And as such, they will not limit their newfound mystical abilities

to cater to their "traditional usage",

but also for things bar beyond the realms of tradition,

if and when the time calls for it.

"When and why would time call for it?" you ask?

To which I will say ...

I would leave that to your imagination.

But understand this,

times like those will be ONLY needed,

when doing something OTHERWORLDLY or unheard of,

will be the NEED of the moment,

no matter the domain or how far beyond the boundaries

of a sage's traditional usages they surface.

For it will be during those times,

that the World will need to be reminded ...

... that there is such a thing  ...

... as being SU-PER-HU-MAN.
