Suffering

In conversations with people,

I do not use the label "suffering" that much.

It is because I have no choice

in their situation and thus their misunderstanding of the label.

The moment one hears or reads "suffering",

their Mind will conjure up certain images related to it.

And this lack of knowledge about the Truth behind suffering,

and thus the involuntary Mind "assistance" that

they have to call for,

is what I will point towards and say (internally) -

See, this is your suffering.

I will say internally because saying to them will be futile.

Because to them, they are not suffering, are they?

For their Mind will precisely conjure up images

that does not truly reflect their Present situation.

You must read these lines carefully.

Why will their Mind show them the Truth of their Suffering?

Their Mind will show them some far-fetched

(or even something totally normal) depiction of

what it thinks

is suffering.

This could be one getting paralyzed or their loved ones

getting taken away from them forever,

or one not having any monthly income for an

extended period of time.

And I will "assist" them with the Truth...

What your Mind thinks is "suffering" is not Suffering.

Though it may sounds harsh to most,

the Truth about the events above,

is that they are Reality having its way with humans.

If the human depends on that Reality as an excuse

to not (un)do what needs to be (un)done,

the human is not suffering,

the human is just being unserious.

I will go as far and say, that which the human

thinks is suffering, is really a blessing to

never Suffer for the rest of their life.

So, what in Truth, is Suffering then?

Suffering is often something not registered to humans.

Suffering is the "normal" life that people put up with before

they quietly leave the planet without ever Living.

Some real-world examples could be the athlete who never

surrenders to his sport, because his Mind hijacks him into a

lifelong pleasure-seeking and problem-escaping behavior.

His sport, like everything else, becomes a means to an end for

things. These things could be women, money, his public

and social media status, and his other needs.

^This is Suffering.

Or it can be the born leader or creator who gets stripped

off his ability to bring about the truly one-of-a-kind

change into the lifestyle of humans around him.

Instead, he gets lost in the act of self-worship,

and the endless amassing of prizes he

needs to do, to balance out the weight

of his ego.

^This is Suffering.

Or it can be the happy-go-lucky 9-to-5'er

passionate about doing "good" to the world,

so that "bad" things never ever happen to him.

Such a person will hop between jobs or climb the

corporate ladder at a single "company" all his life,

so that he can provide for his "family" and in the process,

blind them with labels of good, bad, and (what he thinks is)

suffering.

^This is Suffering.

Put simply...

Suffering is living as the Mind.

Suffering is not knowing the Truth about one's life,

and thus, not living devoted to the Truth (about their life).

I must add that labels of "devoted" and "Truth"

will sound boring or spiritual or outdated to you,

and even that is a ploy of the conditioned Mind.

Such are the perils of labels.

I have written about labels in-depth,

and about the masking they do here and here.

The Mind deals in labels because it abhors the Truth.

The Mind could not care less about the Truth behind things,

and hence it has no choice but to get lost in the world of labels.

Yes, all real problems are chicken-and-egg-problems,

and it is precisely why the human being is there for.

To truly deal with these situations.

Thank you.
