Man loves his stories and discussions.

Women love their gossip.

The agenda is the same independent of the label of story or gossip -

narrate loudly the events of the past, present, and future to one another.

Appears and sounds innocent or even informative on the surface.

Thoroughly blinding in reality.

For really, engaging with stories or gossip entails something else...

Act as an amplifier or a relay for the Mind that is riding you,

so that you allow for others to be ridden by theirs.

If the lines above did not fully register to you,

that is okay, you may still read the rest.

It must be fairly easy to see...

The entertainment industry is all about stories and narrations.

Be it movies or music, at the essence, are stories

or narrations that are told or sung or shown,

and from which more stories emanate almost uncontrollably.

If one ever wondered why that industry is labeled

"entertainment",

these lines have all the answers for them.

Entertainment?

Man's whole life has been about entertainment.

Why would he stop at stories about "his life"?

He would want to see and hear more.

More jargon about things that do not matter,

that will keep him from the things that truly do.

But if one continues to ponder, they will slowly see that

the bigger games of media, politics, and to some extent even education,

are really glorified stories and a blatant depiction

of man's addiction to events and stories about not just himself,

but about imagined entities like society, economy, and government,

and those nested within these (e.g. employment, technology, or innovation).

Yes.

Stories,

then stories about those stories,

and then more stories about those stories.

The problem with such things?

There is no "problem".

For the lingo of "problems" only exists in the realms of society,

or the mainstream, either of which is fueled by the variedly colored

Minds impregnated with even more variedly colored needs and desires.

There is only the Truth.

And it is this...

Staying lost in a thing,

rarely allows one to collect the Truth about that thing.

Which is to say,

If discussion, gossip or media has been one's lifeblood,

they would not bother with the Truth behind it.

Only to the one who is ready,

the further truths will register.

Stories or gossip either make a human happy or sad,

or allow for them to steer clear from the Moment

What is wrong with being happy or sad?

what do I mean by "steer clear from the Moment"?

Answers one at a time...

Nothing is "wrong".

Like I said, Truth is the only thing there is.

If one is stuck between being happy or sad,

further deeper truths are not realized...

When one is happy, the needful is not done.

When one is sad, the needful is not done.

No matter the situation in one's life,

if there is even a hint of unsatisfaction or unfulfillment,

or "something does not feel right about my life",

it entails that they are sitting on something.

That something is often Action.

(A real) action that kickstarts a series of other actions,

or (in)action that puts an end to all robotic, senseless,

and self-sabotaging "actions".

The vacillation between happiness and sadness

may provide for a whole deal to latch on to,

but at the core keep the human from that Action.

And to close the second open end...

If you live separated from the Moment,

you will live separated from the Life that you are.

"Your life" which today is centrally about things

like needing, wanting, striving, winning or losing,

excitement or depression, and if none of those,

about staying conflicted,

will keep you for the rest of your life.

You will not realize that beyond this temporariness,

it is not just that the Moment is all that you truly crave,

but that it will take you where You want to go.
