Every human is on this planet to play a ROLE.

While he may have heard of something similar here and there

labeled as his "purpose" or "motive",

I do not speak of such things.

The ROLE I speak of is not the one he wants to play

or the one he has been told he should play,

and thus he does not want to play.

The ROLE I speak of is the ONE that he is already playing.

Yes.

You did not misread it.

You are playing a ROLE.

You are then "playing" many other roles.

The quotes around the word - playing - imply that

you actively play them.

That is, it is a constant leveraging of your Mind,

akin to solving a problem or puzzle.

These roles could be at work or play.

They could be for your children, your siblings, or your parents.

They could be for your friends, clients, or acquaintances.

The specificities around these roles do not matter.

What matters is that you do not know that you play them.

What matters is that you do not know why you play them.

Because you do not know the thing that matters,

you care too much for the things that do not matter at all...

how well you play these roles,

how happy or satisfied you should "feel" playing these roles.

how happy or satisfied should those who they are being played for, "feel".

For you do not know the Truth behind them.

Yes.

There is a Truth behind all these roles that you ought to know.

Why?

I do not know.

Perhaps it is time for you to know.

Perhaps it is time...

to relieve yourself of the suffering that you have been

going through because of them,

to begin to unveil the many layers of the Mind that are weighing you down.

I will provide it to you now.

The only thing I ask of you while you read them,

is to SEE what the Mind does as you read them.

For then the Mind will be kept out of it.

For then the READING will be done.

Here it is ...

The roles you play today are an unnecessary layer on top of the ROLE

that is already being played through you.

The constant maintenance,

the dealing with the conflicts,

the chasing of the pleasures,

and fighting or avoiding the sorrows that

you experience from your roles keep you from fulfillment.

The fulfillment, that comes from knowing the Truth.

The fulfillment, that is already there because you are playing the ROLE.

This is not to say that the roles you play today need to be given up.

Oh no, no.

This is to say that the roles will become child's play,

and relieve you of all its maintenance

once you realize and ACCEPT the ROLE.

The ROLE is what your Mind will reject

or want too badly.

For the ROLE is...

YOU.
