Real Change

Posted by Suman on Feb 17, 2020

The self-help industry and the very many experts in it,

will shout at the top of their voice ...

"It is all about CHANGE."

"One must change to become 'the best version' of themselves."

"Change is the only constant"

These same people will then heavily rely on agendas, techniques

and their other "self-help-expertise" to treat the cases,

and "try to" bring change in "their subjects".

These people, who themselves have not changed in years,

or worse,

are taking their medication and have been "trying to change",

(for decades now)

are so far away from the Truth about REAL CHANGE,

that their statements during the "consultation sessions" begins with ...

"Listen, I will tell you what you need, you need to ..."

"I think, what s(h)e needs to do is ..."

"Look, look at the bright side, if you do ..."

"Oh dear, just look at your brother/sister/uncle/father/cousin/...,

if you could just try to emulate them ..."

"I will be right back with you (as they pull out their phone) ..."

...

Understand this ...

Not a single self-help expert out there,

no matter how many badges they flash in your face,

or how many "previous cases" they have examined,

or what #insert-celeb-or-superstar-name-here# they claim they "helped" get out of misery,

will really help you.

They may "seem to be helping", but they will help NOT.

For the "seem to be helping" is precisely what is keeping you where you are!

For there is "Yeah, I think it is working"

or "You know what, I think I feel better",

AND then there is ...

... " !!! " (...speechlessness)

Where the help was not just close to "what was needed",

it was the thing,

that allowed them to see that they needed no help!

Yes.

Real help, no matter what predicament one is stuck in,

is the guidance that allows one to clearly see that it is not that

they "need help".

It is their very need for help, which is the root of their predicament!

Do you now see how poisonous is the exposure

of such a person to the mainstream "self-help experts"?

Because mainstream "self-help" will continue to "feed the beast".

It will continue to keep the person drugged,

so that they can bill them their "reasonable hourly rate"

and fulfill their "dream to do good in the society that cares-for-me-so-much".

To which I say,

ABSOLUTE UTTER and OUTRIGHT NONSENSE!

Please understand this...

Any and all "help" will take one farther away from The Help.

For deep-down, such a "help" is literally like cocaine.

It is not helping at all!

It is incriminating.

It is imprisoning.

And the farther away from The Help one is,

the more "help" they will crave ...

... yes, just like an addict holding close to their addiction

as if their life depends on it.

...

So what is this Real Help?

Real Help is the catalyst that makes one realize within themselves,

the very things that are keeping them there.

(No, not the general "their need for help" that I said a few lines above.)

It allows them to realize their own

shackles that are keeping them stuck to their predicament.

Not just the superficial shackles,

but the deep, deep ones.

Ones that they would not even contemplate being bound by.

And because it allows them,

to see clearly,

one at a time,

the things causing them to NOT change,

Real Change begins ...

... ON ITS OWN.

Yes.

Real Help helps allow Real Change to surface.

(Precisely because it does not "try to bring" change.)

And unlike change that one "hopes for" or is "promised",

Real Change is something that surprises both the one who is being guided

and the one who is facilitating guidance.

And tell you what,

like the sun showing up unpredictably,

on a cold and cloudy day,

a surprise,

is the most heartwarming thing to experience.

Thank you.
