Mask

Over his lifetime,

a human concocts a personality.

He wears this personality as a mask.

Men have just one mask.

Women have many.

Men are not aware of their mask at all.

Women are partially aware of some or all of their masks.

But the awareness is not a deep, visceral awareness.

Instead, women take this as a "skill" on their part.

They leverage this by trying to live many lives simultaneously.

The life of a lover, businesswoman, mother, mentor, and what have you.

Some women acknowledge this ability as something they just do.

But something within these women keeps them from leveraging it

the way the others do.

They only glimpse it here and there during certain occasions.

Depending on the mask a man wears,

he lives one of two shades of delusion as well.

Most men cave into the pressure of this delusion serving the world around them.

These "men" become mules of society.

Others leverage this delusion and push on to the world around them.

These "men" command the mules of society.

Neither side, of men or women,

insist on fully seeing through their delusion.

They both live their whole life imprisoned.

One side awashed in the illusion of ego,

and the other conflicted about whether to leverage their tendencies or not.

The Mind has men and women differently.

Men are "less" in its grips and yet, "less" in control of it.

Women are "more" in its grips and yet, "more" in control of it.

To truly live,

a man thus has to break free "up and away" from his mask.

A woman ought to "head the other way".

She has only to realize, she needs no breaking free.

She just has to fully surrender to the awareness of her tendencies.

Rare is the man who breaks free of his mask.

Rarer is the woman who insists on being

fully aware of all her tendencies.

Thank you.
