Man works and works

Posted by Suman on Oct 27, 2020

Man has thoroughly convinced himself that

he has to work for things.

And thus, his days are mostly spent working.

Working for this. Working for that.

Working. Working. Working.

Why does he work?

The question is multifaceted, and thus, its answers.

I will shine some light on one of its facets.

You see, man loves his dreams.

His dreams are about that which he wants.

These dreams, are actually not his,

just as the wants fueling those dreams.

But he does not know it.

Then comes along society.

Society, which has time and again been misunderstood,

is a completely blinding entity.

For there is something that man does not wake up to...

What he thinks is society, is not society.

Those he labels his friends, colleagues, coaches,

girlfriends, x-girlfriends, family, family's families,

and then,

their online versions,

are his society.

The

"I must work for my dreams"

instruction gets hammered into his Mind by this society.

He gives not himself any other option but to follow suit.

Not so much because he wants that which he dreams.

But because he is afraid,

what he will do or be without his dreams,

and most of all, the society that has taken care of him thus far.

Strength, be it physical or mental,

has been one of man's coveted dreams.

And consequently, something he works for non-stop.

This same man will be too fast to call

someone or something or even himself - "weak".

But consider this for an instance...

Is weakness not merely an observation of the lack of that which he

labels strength?

Is it not worthwhile to instead stay with the observation?

But man does not know worthwhile.

He insists to not observe.

And he will latch on to every other hack or crutch or technique

to not stay.

For his Mind is right beside him ready to serve up labels

to further obstruct the already hidden expression of his deepest.

The Truth that such a man hides from, is this...

There is no such thing as weakness.

There is only a lack of Knowledge.

But I must stress that Knowledge,

is not what you think it is.

It is not to be found in the world of books or coaches or experts.

One lacks Knowledge not because they do not have access to something outside.

One lacks Knowledge because they have not dug deep enough inside.

Because there is a lack of sincerity and

seriousness about getting to

what is already there.

Because and thus,

there is a blind chase for "strength".

Which, in reality, is a lifelong

escape from and suppression of

their true weakness -

themselves.

Thank you.
