Q: What is it like being a Legend?
A: Being a legend is the pinnacle of human existence.
But very few will grasp the essence of this.
For some Minds will deem being one, "too hard" or "challenging".
While some, the opposite, and they will be too enchanted by it or crave it greatly.
Then there will be the rest scattered between these two extremes.
Q: Why are Legends rare?
A: That I do not know.
What I do know is that Truth is not for everyone,
for rare it is for man to sacrifice his most "priced asset" - his Mind,
and the prizes it "promises" him,
and go hunting for something else entirely.
And so,
ONLY the one who cannot help but seek Truth,
will find Legendhood.
(Or rather he will be found by it.)
Q: So legends always seek Truth?
A: Yes.
For no matter what sport, craft, subject or topic,
the key to what the world labels as superhuman or legendary abilities,
lies in knowing the Truth about that sport, craft or subject.
Q: How does a legends' day-to-day look like?
A: A legends day-to-day is centered around their devotion.
For their devotion doesn't just "come first" in the day,
it is their day-to-day.
Having said that, a legendary existence,
also implies being available to the Moment by default.
And thus to cater to anything else truly important,
or that which is the need of the moment,
a legend surrenders themselves to it,
independent of their like, dislike, plan or agenda,
accomplishes or performs as needed,
and moves on.
Q: Why do legends prefer to live in an isolated or alienated way.
A: They do not prefer to do so.
The relentless search to be able to know the Truth in their domain,
occupies them so completely and wholly,
that they forget themselves and the world.
(It exists for them, but moves in the background.)
Their "central" living slowly moves away from being everything else
that society bothers with and becomes their search.
And an alienated or hermetic existence is the result.
Q: Are you a legend?
A: Yes.
Q: But the world does not know you as one.
A: One is something independent of what the world thinks or speaks of them.
And what you label as "the world",
simply means the societal world - the mainstream.
And the mainstream deals NOT in real things. It deals with labels.
And so it will wait for a phenomenon or a "legendary" event to happen.
Until then, why would it bother labeling someone a Legend?
But understand this, my friend, legendhood happens before it "happens" (for the world).
Q: When will this phenomenon happen for you?
A: It will happen when it will happen.
Tomorrow, next month, later this year or the next.
I can predict not.
Q: Can I become a Legend?
A: You can become anything you want.
But only when there is not the slightest hint of doubt or wonder,
and a DECISION is made inside of you,
without you knowing.
And your question would seem to imply that you are not there yet.
Q: Now I really want to become a Legend. How do I start?
A: By going beyond your mind's desire to become one.
Q: How can you tell that it is my Mind, and not me, who desires to be one?
A: Because any and all "how" is your Mind doing the talking for you.
And legendhood lies beyond the realms of your Mind.
Q: So I must go beyond the realms of my Mind?
A: I did not say that.
What I said, was stated simply and independently.
It was not directed at you or anyone in particular.
But your mind converted my statement into a prescription, something to be acted upon.
