I have been told at times,
that what I write is "dark".
To which I have nothing else to say or do.
In the same way, I have nothing else to say to,
or do with society and its conundrums.
For I have "checked out" from society.
I have "checked out" from its mind-fullness.
I have "checked out" from its games.
I have "checked out" from anything and everything it has to offer.
And because every single thing or entity in life is "analog"
(vs its "digital" experience that the Mind allows you)
even the act of "checking out" is not a 0 or 1,
or a process with only two states - "not-started" and "complete".
So in all its usages above,
I must add that I am about 80-90% through.
And there is still a very very small part of me,
that needs be cleansed of the societal dirt.
But,
the one societal practice or behavior,
that I have fully and completely "checked out" from,
is its reliance on labels.
Why does it rely on labels or on the act of labeling everything?
The answer is as simple as "How much is 1+1?" or "What is your name?".
Labels are perhaps, the most ready-made solution,
available to the Mind to mask the Truth,
and continue to "be" the human underneath ...
Something makes one feel "good" => The thing is good, great, awesome, perfect...
Something makes one feel "bad" => The thing is awful, bad, horrible, unfortunate...
Someone does not "like to socialize" => They are introvert, anti-social, weird, shy...
A body part "hurts" => They are (or the body part is) tight, injured, inflamed...
More "good" events in one's life => They are improving, progressing, getting better...
or the opposite => They are "having a rough time" or "life is giving them hell"...
...
And this is why,
writing that makes them feel "bad" about themselves or their loved ones,
or makes them suddenly become aware of their lack of "progress",
or makes them finally glimpse the Truth about their living,
becomes "dark", "unappealing", "rude", "too direct" and what have you.
But I realize that the fact "masking the Truth"
may not be enough of a "reason" for the Mind which is reading this,
to appreciate the graveness of labeling.
So I must go deeper.
In "stopping at labels" while dealing with a situation or a problem,
makes the human mistake the symptom or mere observation,
with the cause of or the fact behind the situation.
I see this way too often with those who I work with,
or just going about my day.
I will provide an example.
One of the athletes I am working with,
has great potential,
but also some limitations that are keeping him stuck.
He has been to many "learned individuals" with degrees and diplomas,
to get help with his problem.
But not a single one of them was able to help him.
But, and not at all obvious to him,
they did their very best to pollute his mind with labels,
all while giving him the promise that such labels are getting him closer to getting "fixed".
And now that we are taking apart this accumulated "knowledge" about his condition one label at a time,
he cannot help but go through "Aha moments" every session we work together!
"Physio X told me my left lat is tight" -> Label or symptom
"Osteo Y told me my right shoulder sits lower than my right" -> label or symptom
...
...Labels everywhere!
No one knows how to get to the root.
Because, no matter their "credentials",
they do not want to get to the Truth.
And of course... their Mind which is now a dictionary of labels and surface-symptoms,
jumps in now and then and serves up a flashy sounding "label",
which rationalizes them continuing to "invoice" their clients.
...
But there is more!
As one continues to go deeper with the pitfalls of reliance on labeling and terms,
they will come face to face with the most evil of them all.
Which one is that?
It is not - Masking the Truth.
It is not - Stopping an investigation at labels or symptoms.
The deepest and almost invisible one of them is this ...
... It allows the human to escape understanding the situation.
This to me personally is the most devastating of them all.
For in not understanding the situation, investigation or an observation,
they continue to exacerbate their situation.
Their situation of not being able to understand.
And because society or those around them,
continue to back them up in this inability,
by rewarding them for their "speed" to arrive at a "conclusion",
it gives them even more excuses to stay in that situation.
Why bother understanding when "labeling" is overfilling their pockets,
and allowing them to climb the ranks?
Yes.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) this is the reality for them.
In over-relying on that which one takes for their skill,
they walk away from THE SKILL for good.
THE SKILL...
...to not have to back-up, maintain or add new skills.
...to not have to "investigate", for the root cause is seen right away.
...to not be masked from the Truth,
but to be and live it.
Thank you.
