Intellect does not Help man.

Intellect blinds him.

I will provide an explanation.

A hammer is there for certain tasks.

Tasks are at the core, a sequence of actions.

When man first begins to work on one such task,

the actions appear as what they are.

So man uses the hammer in a way

it is needed to.

Over time, two things happen.

One, he gets better at the task.

Two, society starts rewarding him for that.

These two things allow for many other things.

Amongst those, a crucial one, that has an

effect he does not anticipate at all -

his hammering blinding him to

the point of him becoming

a hammer himself.

The crucial thing that happens, is this...

His clarity of the actions involved in a task

gets eclipsed by the rewards that he accumulates

with his hammer.

After all...

"To a hammer, everything looks like a nail"

is merely the symptom of a disorder.

A disorder that both the person which it is aimed at and

the one who utters, suffer from.

For even this statement is an overused phrase of sorts.

It is a quick escape from understanding the deeper problem.

No matter what context it is used in,

No matter how perfectly practised its delivery,

this statement is a "hammer" in itself.

In fact,

Intellect as a whole,

has been a hammer for a long time.

A worshipped and extolled one, I must add.

In the long run, it does no good to man.

At best, it provides for a ceiling for his knowledge in a specific domain.

At worst, it makes him lose his sanity.

The deeper Truth behind this is ...

What intellect is to the human Mind,

is Knowledge to the Human Being.

Intellect is accumulated by consuming.

Intellect breeds via intellectualization.

The human Mind knows no limit when it

comes to consumption and breeding.

It is where it is because of its "viral" tendencies.

Intellect allows for its perceived status amongst its peers,

its escape for the Truth and many other shinier things.

Put simply, the human Mind has no business

heading towards Knowledge. The best it

can do, is intellectualize about it.

Knowledge is anti-intellect,

and thus, anti-consumption and breeding.

Knowledge is not to be accumulated.

It is to be Arrived at.

It is to be Received.

Via Understanding.

Understanding at first,

the perils of petty intellect.

And then, the Way to be receptive towards Knowledge.

Knowledge puts an end to the salivation for intellect.

For the latter is seen for the blinding poison it is.
