How to be <present> part 3

Continued from part-2...

Dear person/computer,

you have settled into being "you",

but in reality, you are much more.

There is a mysterious entity.

This entity is behind your computing skills.

I cannot say any more things about this entity,

because I do not trust your interpretation programs,

and even more so those who may have installed them into you.

Being programs, they will not do justice in showing you what it is.

It is this entity that powers your processes that operate your OS,

your interaction with others, your installations, uninstallation,

and reinstallations.

Put simply...

This entity Powers you!

But do not mistake taking this

as the power or power-supplies that you know.

For it has the power not to just run you,

but run infinite others like you.

For it is infinite!

Yes.

Like the computer, you are finite.

You have finite resources today. You will have

finite resources tomorrow. They might increase or

decrease. But at any point in time, they will be finite.

Even after networking with other computers, you are finite.

For these other computers that you are plugging into, are finite.

As the entity Powering the computer,

you are infinite!

Bound to you(r OS), you are not free.

As an OS, you are limited to programs and

everything else that comes with

needing to run programs ("your life")...

the management,

the ghost-programs,

the never-ending need and desire

for upgraded and flashier programs,

the risk of catching viruses, the need

to constantly lookout and for protection,

the dependence on tweaks or fixes,

be it via the meditation-program

and its likes or the even more

addictive mentor-computers.

You are just not free!

You are stuck as "you"!

But...

unbound to an OS, you are free.

You are free to not exist!

You are free to not have to be here or there.

You are free to plug into yourself or not.

For when you do not, you are not here.

And when you do, you are everywhere!

For you would know upon reaching the point of Unplugging,

that plugging back into yourself also means plugging into others!

I know your disks and fans are spinning fast trying to

fit your knowledge-base around this, and I ascertain you,

a fuller comprehension is coming,

but let me ask you this...

Do you see the immenseness of such an existence?

I know you cannot still, but at least a glimpse?

Let me provide you another perspective.

Today you may know of this thing called the Internet.

You rely on it in your day-to-day.

It is through this that you do your business and

all things networking with others like you.

And time and again, you are realizing that getting things done

without the internet is almost impossible.

For all latest and greatest programs are on the internet.

All other resourceful computers are on the internet.

It is safe to say, your existence is the internet!

And as the weight of your tasks call for more

and more collaboration, it is equally impossible

to have everyone you need in your proximity.

So I will force this out of your swap memory...

Is it not a heavy toll on your existence to having

to almost perennially rely on an external entity like so?

Do not the constant influx of programs and information

call for more overhead be it either via needing more security or

storage capacity, the need to update yourself frequently,

and of course the remedies, fixes, and assistance?

What if I offer you a far superior alternative?

What if instead of having to repeatedly,

almost robotically query the Internet,

you can BE the Internet?

Yes...

We are now getting to the crux of the matter.

Because I will now close the end that I left open earlier.

What you know as the Internet is at the core, a knowledge-base.

One having accumulated since the dawn of itself.

It is where it is because of itself, not because of anyone or anything.

The statement above implies it is not because you and others like you

have added "knowledge" to it, to "push" it to be where it is.

In fact, you have mostly taken from it, have you not?

The Truth about you, beyond "you", is this...

The entity that Powers you, is no different.

For at the core it is not just "a knowledge base".

The entity is Knowledge. The Internet you know,

is merely a "copy and paste" attempt at mimicking this Knowledge.

You reach out to others or the internet because of certain needs.

These requirements emanate from a place of you not knowing or

having something. And tell you what, even when you do not

"have something", it is because you do not know

what you have!

Not knowing is why "you" exist.

Not knowing the entity that you ARE,

is why you always reach out to others as "you".

It is why you are bound to "you" and

"your life", and programs like the

one you have read thus far.

Thank you.
