The Body and the Mind

Posted by Suman on Jun 11, 2020

Man is not aware.

He is not aware of his Body.

He is not aware of his Mind.

He instead only recognizes parts of either.

He says...

"My wife", "My sport", "My art", "My business", etc.

These are the parts of the Mind that he experiences.

Likewise, he says...

"My arm", "My triceps", "My quads", "My back", etc.

These are the parts of the Body that he recognizes.

He does not realize that he has the whole of both.

BECAUSE he does not realize that he is neither.

He is distracted from seeing this wholeness.

His Mind is at the center of the distraction.

Yes.

The game is lost since birth itself.

When he is brought up in the shadow of two blind humans.

For the mother and the father themselves did not experience

the wholeness of their bodies and their minds.

He stays lost even after he moves out of home.

For in "freeing himself" from his parents,

he gets caught up right into society.

Society today has mainly two sectors.

First is the mainstream.

He who finds refuge in the mainstream dies the moment he does so.

His body becomes a pleasure device for his Mind.

To say anymore than that is a waste of words.

The second is the non-mainstream.

This sector is more aware and "high end".

This sector has recognized the importance of "controlling" the Mind

and "exercising" or "training" the body.

Things such as Meditation, Yoga, Strength training, Gymnastics, etc.

frequent in this circle.

The experiences the human has here are deeper and "meaningful".

But this sector focuses too much on the practices themselves.

...

Meditation is about "calming the Mind"

Yoga is about "flexibility and mobility".

Strength Training is about "getting strong".

Olympic Lifting is about "power and speed".

Dieting is about "getting slim or ripped".

...

The human gets lost in the minutae.

He continues to only see what he has been seeing,

albeit with tad more clarity.

The human misses the PICTURE.

...

These two sectors combined comprises of 99%+ of all humans.

...

There is a third sector.

It has had the interest of very, very few people.

For those in the other two sectors deemed this an outright impossibility.

This sector is where things get REAL.

This is where legends are drawn towards.

Never before things are seen and heard of.

Things like World records, total mind or body freedom, or perennial peace are sought.

In this sector...

There have been feats related to the Body.

There have been feats related to the Mind.

But such folks always have appeared to be in one of these "cohorts"...

...either Body OR the Mind

...

When I look at the "Body cohort",

I am reminded of Bruce Lee from the Past,

and Lu Xiaojun in the modern times.

When I look at the "Mind cohort",

I am reminded of the Buddha from the Past,

and Kapil Gupta in modern times.

I am driven to go beyond these humans.

For I have realized...

Freedom is to be found as much in the body,

if not more than in the Mind.

...

What is possible when one tames their body and their Mind?

What awaits them when they realize the freedom of every strand

in their body,

and every single neuron in their Mind?

What has human civilization still not seen and experienced

from a human in his prime?

These are the questions that I seek the answers to.

This - "fourth sector"

- will see the light of the day.

Thank you
