It is not just misleading,
but merely an attempt to feel good when one speaks highly
of the nature of man.
The nature of man is not glorious.
The nature of man is not unique.
Today,
the nature of man,
is the antithesis of Nature.
And it is only getting farther away from what it truly is.
Man is lost.
No matter what he may seem to be doing,
the Truth is that every now and then he finds himself lost in the darkness.
Either striving to find that unique idea for his business,
or making way for some other busy-ness disguising as uniqueness.
Why has he been blinded so completely?
Need he be punched in the heart to have it remind
him of his essence,
of the following Truth...?
The life that he is living behind "his life"
is already unique.
It need not be polluted with questions of
"What's next?" or "How do I get that?"
or "What should I do?" or "Who should I be?"
The life inside of him getting expressed as
him, is the Answer!
The world has been awaiting that Answer since the day
he was conceived out of his Mother's womb.
Many will say that the world of technology and the internet is allowing
for unique things.
And that man only needs to play along.
They will euphemize such things by calling it innovation.
And while I will understand their reasoning,
I will also point them towards the Truth.
Beyond the shiny veil of the gloriousness provided for by
"remote work", "artificial intelligence", "virtual reality",
"internet of things", "smart homes", "online dating", ...
what is really happening?
what is the one blatant exhibition?
What is coming to light once again,
as it always, always,
always has?
...
The gullible nature of man.
His almost visceral abhorrence towards being Unique.
His almost permanent bond to the illusion of society.
And consequently,
his written destiny of becoming the norm.
No matter how many highs and lows he experiences,
Becoming the norm
is a perfectly succinct summarization of his life.
Man's life has always been about becoming the norm.
In the past, it was about becoming the norm of the past.
And today it is about the exact same thing.
...
"Writing a book"
"Starting a company"
"Tweeting to gain followers"
"Becoming a machine learning expert"
"Learning to day-trade to not have to work"
...
These are the norms of the society of today.
You will say I am being preposterous.
You will also say that these things are not
becoming the norm.
You will very likely say,
who am I to challenge the coveted avenues
of freedom from the drudging 9-5 or living the "4-hour-work week?"
And I will say...
I am beyond the reach of your words.
You are only responding to your own Mind.
The same Mind you have spoken to all your life.
Thank you.
