The average chases. The superior, is

The average human...

chases because he is average.

chases, and hence he is average.

The statements above may seem straightforward to you.

But they are not.

For they talk about not just any other entrapment.

They are the result of the human bound and gagged by his own Mind.

For being average is not the issue.

There is nothing "wrong" with being average.

Just like notions of "right" and "wrong" are meaningless.

Just like life has no meaning after all.

Neither is chasing the issue.

Chasing will not cause unfulfillment by itself.

Just like one will say that they are fulfilled,

having shunned all chasing,

but crave a deeper, more visceral fulfillment.

After all, humans are born free and have limited time to experience.

Why can things like "being average" or "chasing" be the problem?

What is really the problem then?

The problem is getting caught in the web of chasing and being average.

The problem is not separating...

The problem is not understanding...

The problem is not seeing clearly...

...the "details" of a chase and of one's state of averageness.

And more than anything else...

The problem is that of coasting high above

and not wanting to learn about the problem.

What entails when one is relentless about these?

The following realizations dawn...

You see at the end of the day,

labels of "average" and "superior" are futile.

They are futile in the same way the respective ego-hurt and the ego-boost that they provide.

Likewise, the act of chasing or the fact of one being chased

and the judgment that arises related to those two are futile.

They are futile because these ego-hurts or ego-boosts and judgments are temporary.

They visit, and they leave.

They arise, and they fall.

They come, and they go.

How can be something of any relevance that is temporary?

Why should they be paid attention to and made the center agenda for everything else?

Because they are temporary, they are not real.

What is real then?

The fingers producing these words are real.

The human being inside whom such surges arise is real.

All the other human beings they are in contact with, are real.

For at the end of the day, all that matters, is the Truth.

And it is Truth, that is arrived at when one insists on wanting

to learn about the problem.

The Truth puts an end to one attaching

like-their-life-depends-on-it

importance to such temporary surges of the Mind.

And when that happens...

All insincere and vacuous chases fall away on their own.

All sincere and serious "chases" begin to see the light of the day.

And, all things superior are automatically bestowed to the human being.

Thank you.
