The Truth about being Serious

Posted by Suman on Aug 26, 2020

"Truth"

is dangerous

for the Unserious.

It gives them even more reasons to stay unserious.

"Truth",

supercharges the Serious.

It propels them with a mighty drive.

It gives them all the Reason to surrender

completely and totally to that which is already

being done through them.

The Unserious will keep coming back to "Truth"

with the hope that there is something they will "get"

which they missed last time.

That is, they will repeat the same behavior

that they exhibit towards everything and everyone else in their life.

The Serious will know what needs to be done

the moment they set their eyes on "Truth".

They will rarely come back to it, if ever.

But...

What does "Serious" really mean?

Why are very few Serious?

Meanings are useless, so I will

attempt to describe what it entails

to be Unserious/Serious.

Seriousness does not entail

being a specific quality of the Mind

like intelligence or the like.

One who has no interest

in getting something

truly worthwhile

out of the Life inside them

is Unserious.

One who can easily see that

the way they are living their days

is not really getting them

anywhere but keeping them where

they have been for as long as they can remember,

and STILL is okay with doing that,

is Unserious.

One, who due to whatever reason or medium,

either via some past experience or otherwise,

have come to glimpse that they are capable of

much, much more than who they are today,

but are too comfortable with the

pleasure riding and distraction they call "their life",

is Unserious.

On the other side of the above examples,

one who is yet to fully blossom into the Gift

that Nature has planted deep into them,

but keep shunning away from knowing

more about it,

and instead, choose to "sacrifice"

their life by being "obedient" and listening to others around them,

either because of them being afraid of the "consequences"

or due to their allegiance to some "religious belief" or "custom",

is Unserious.

As you can see, Unseriousness is a big word,

and it really masks a terrible sacrifice

of the Life and Magic hidden inside the human being.

One who is Serious,

is at the opposite end of all of this.

They are doing what needs to be done.

They are lost unearthing who or what it is they are underneath

that which society has taken them to be.

Due to whatever circumstances, they have had enough with the

noise and distraction around them that people hopelessly salivate towards.

Something within them does not wait for

"the right time" or "after this is over" or the like.

If they are alive, they cannot help but get something out of their Present.

Even if that means walking alone and without the hope of any

flashy prizes in the future.

However, it does not mean, they are rude or unruly as some of the words

above may make you think.

They are calm and gentle on the outside,

and harbor a quiet and sincere desperation

on the inside which guides their actions and decisions.

Thank you.
